Dove Mountain
Dove Mountain is a newer and truly beautiful Master Planned Community that is located just of west of Oro Valley at the base of the Tortolita Mountains. It is just off the I-10 freeway about 20 minutes northwest of Tucson.
There are a dozen or so subdivisions in Dove Mountain and more coming every day. This community is growing rapidly with new subdivisions opening up on a regular basis. A new retail center is under construction at the entrance to Dove Mountain and stores will be opening in there around the end of 2006.
Some of the subdivisions in Dove Mountain are very high end luxury subdivisions like Canyon Pass and the Gallery. Some are golf course communities and there is one retirement community called Heritage Highlands which also has a beautiful golf course.
There are currently three golf courses in Dove Mountain including Heritage Highlands and the Gallery which has two courses. There are homes around all these courses so there are lots of choices if you are a golfer.
Dove Mountain homes come in all price ranges from starter homes on the lower elevations in the 200's to multi-million golf course homes tucked back into the canyons of the Tortolitas and just about everything in between.
