DEL LAGO GOLF (SEMI-PRIVATE)

Del Lago Golf Club is located in Rancho Del Lago down in Vail about 15 miles or so Southeast of Tucson. Vail is an up and coming area that is growing quickly and this course serves that area of town.

Del Lago is higher in elevation than most courses in the Tucson area, sitting at about the 3400 foot level. This provides a slightly cooler temperature than courses in the Tucson valley. The course has lots of elevation changes as it wanders over the hillsides. Del Lago is a high desert course with lots of wildlife and beautiful views. You may see Deer, Javelina, Bobcats, Rabbits and once and a while a mountain lion is seen here.

Del lago is a fairly easy course so it suits all levels of play. There is only one forced carry over the desert and it is on the first hole so you are quickly done with that and can relax through the rest of the round. There are a few lakes on Del Lago so it is pleasing on the eye, Generally just a great course with great views. Relax and enjoy Del Lago.
