Oro Valley is a small bedroom community just north of Tucson. It is all one city, we are just about a half hour from down town Tucson.
Tucson is a wonderful place to live, we just love it here! This is big town with a small town feel.
The greater Tucson area has tons of shopping, dining, entertainment and many fun things to do including a great number of exciting and fun "Day Trips". We are about 1 & 1/2 hours from Nogalas Mexico, about an hour from the small art enclave of Tubac and about a half hour from Green Valley.
It is only 6 hours to drive over to San Diego for a weekend at the beach or a few days enjoying all the sights and sounds of that great city.
Likewise Las Vegas is only about 5 hours away if you like world class shopping, entertainment and gambling.
Phoenix is only an hour & 1/2 up the road and we sometimes go up there for major sporting events or large concerts.
The grand canyon and Sedona are about 4 & 1/2 hours north of us as are the White Mountians with all their lakes, camping and fishing. Lots of people here have summer cabins up in the White Mountians.
